Akiri is owned and run by Margareta Elding-Pontén. She has got a PhD in chemistry and more than twenty years of practical experience from advanced database searches and from literature and patent analyses. Her expertise is from life-science within the chemistry, pharmaceutical and patent areas, but she also covers other science and technical fields. Margareta is an experienced information and patent professional and an acknowledged expert in chemical and Markush (generically claimed compounds) structure searching. From her previous work at AstraZeneca she has also got an extensive knowledge of due diligence and freedom-to-operate searches and analyses.
